In this blog post, I’d love to present to you the incredibly talented Nashville based singer, songwriter and producer Drew Schueler. He compares his catchy melodies and vocals to famous singers like Lauv, LANY, and Justin Bieber. Drew started his solo music not long ago in 2018 by releasing his self-produced debut EP New Perspective, which counts four electro-pop tracks. In 2019 he gained more recognition with two new single releases. One of them is I Do a beautiful love anthem, which you must play at your wedding. Drew even used his own wedding footage to make a romantic music video for the song. Just between us: he has married his best friend of many years, so adorable. The second release Paradise, which is also dedicated to his wife, is also his most-streamed solo single on Spotify today with almost 60K streams.
2020 actually begun very well for Drew, he collaborated with the Swedish producers Addy Ace & Vic Roz on the house-pop track View, which was released on the Valentine’s Day. This track with Drew’s enchanting vocals has already reached almost 1 million streams on Spotify. Then at the end of February, Drew has released his masterpiece Can’t Say (Word Like That). I also discovered him with this release and this song is definitely one of the best songs I’ve heard in 2020 so far.
We all know what’s going on in the world since then, shoutout to Coronavirus. Next to playing Fortnite during the quarantine Drew also stayed creative and started the Quarantine Sessions on his YouTube channel. He found joy in uploading acoustic performances of original music but also covers and mashups of his favorite songs by other famous artists. For example, his mashup for Ed Sheeran & Harry Styles has more than 12K views or his cover of Blinding Lights by The Weeknd has also reached 10K views. You definitely have to subscribe to his channel!
Drew just has released his new emotional single Head Start on June 5, which is a heart-melting breakup ballad. You need to check it out before the summer arrives. He is planning to release more music this year. So far, Drew kind of had his well-deserved international little breakthrough. But I see so much more potential in him and I know that soon his music will be played everywhere all around the world. There’s more to come, wait for it and remember his name.
